my name is min zhi, and i've gone by minz since i was 13. my closest friends will still call me minzhi though. my name is a verb, and naturally there's a long and involved story about this, so i won't bore you with it.

born on the 22nd january 1980, on the island of singapore. that made all the difference, to me, the island that was a port, that kept its people in, but always had the "life is elsewhere" impulse.

at an impressionable age i got mixed up with three nutters who were to become my best friends, who decided to spend their secondary school days researching type theory of one sort of another - po chin on astrological profiling, and addy and su-lin on mbti, so under this early swaying influence i will go ahead and say i'm an aquarius and an intp on the mbti. pretty damned accurate too, i must say.

i once asked my friends to rank in order of preference: food, books or sex? their responses are on the friends page. i find it impossible to answer this question. this probably gives you some idea about me.
