had to do something with the half loaf of bread i still had - which i am sure is going stale - so made a pudding with it, while thinking what a good thing i bought a glass dish last week. beat up two eggs, slapped slices of bread into dish, poured some milk and the eggs over, sprinkle sugar (very strange tasting - i think i'll stick to honey in future.) find no raisins or nuts or anything else in the cupboards, so left it at that and stuck the whole thing into oven, went back to my room to check email, and forgot all about it until much later. nothing burnt, despite my negligence, but i wish i had used honey. the trouble is that the nt in me wants to plan exactly how to cook anything beforehand, but the indifferently-stocked kitchen makes me a very p cook.
