back from a driving tour in the bavarian alps -- windswept we were, and sun-kissed, but then what else were convertibles invented for, but to fulfill these stereotypes?(when before we left home i asked if he was going to be a "german driver" and go very-very-very fast, in my very tiny singaporean mind fast i imagined something in the region of 100km/h. and answer came there breezy and unaware from the kitchen, to the effect that 1) with a more powerful car we would of course drive fast 2) but with this little one we shouldn't push it 3) let's just take it at a reasonable cruising speed 4) i don't intend to average more than 140).
and so.
(it turned out to be the most joy i've ever had travelling in a car, by the end of which i was fairly certain that i would never again be able to travel any slower.)
a map, because i like maps though i cannot read them.
