was at geylang with poach, choonping and su-lin yesterday, eating the famed gu bak kway teow and then going to yonghe for dau huay, dau huey chwee and you cha kway. this might have to do with me waking at up 2 in the morning and throwing up spectacularly on the floor and all over myself. very disastrous. tried to clean self and floor best as i could, cleaned self rather better than floor, resorted to putting up a sign in blue marker to advise everyone to use the other bathroom till morning. crept back to bed and tossed till morning, and got to sleep finally after both parents came in and asked, ni zuo wan chi le shen me? got up for some plain porridge at 10, went back to sleep and have been in bed most of the day, except when dad brought in the mail, one letter from the us and a postcard from melbourne for me. incid my new thinkpad x24 came yesterday. it's even more beautiful than i thought possible. remember i had to call the drycleaners to make noise about my very damaged studio gown, so dragged me out of bed to do so, and they managed to find excuses to put me off again! actually, i'd been bugging von to call for me, so that someone more forceful than me can get me my money, only he said i was a wimp and should do it myself and refused to intervene. however, today, after he'd heard what happened, he was very buay song and voluntarily decided that he'll take action, and he won't be stopped, though i fear for our lives and my other 3 pieces of clothing that they still have, so this moment, my indignant brother is demanding to speak to the manager and kicking up a great fuss, while i sit here and bite nails and try to find a thermometer. i am not sure i'm more relieved or stressed but oh well.

and now i shall depart with a final joke:

choonping: worms are not carnivorous, herbivorous or omnivorous. they're detrivorous.

su-lin: dentrivores?what does that mean? it eats teeth?[howl]
