while i was gone:

we (su-lin, julian, von, me) have been to powsing where we had chicken rice, the famed nonya tauhu, claypot sweet potato leaves cooked in coconut gravy, sweet and sour pork ribs, nonya cabbage rolls with otah, squid-stuffed youtiao. everything was damn good and how much did it come to? just $71 including the ++s.

we (pochin and i) have gone for high tea at orchard hotel on my mom's voucher (the same one cindy and i went to last year!)

we (von, su-lin, von's cousin, me) have gone to choupinette for cake and tea. and that was the same day i bought hanutas.

we (uncle, aunt, parents, me) have gone to beng thin restaurant at chulia street for lunch, which i really went to for their signature dish: shredded roast duck with rock melon strips. and sesame.

we (parents, myself, urabe) have gone to palm beach at one fullerton and got ourselves stuffed on monstrously large black pepper crabs. and then gone to baker's inn (which irritatingly now calls itself bakerzin which is just plain uneducated (su-lin), tasteless (von) and pointless (me) for cake. ordered the sumatra (long time delight), jivara (crisp hazelnut base!), fraisier (light taste of lime!) and the chocolate creme brulee (melt.)

there is a great deal of happy eating in my life.
