somebody will know - someone eng enough could find out - where can i find a passage, a dialogue really, in pratchett - i'm almost sure it's in one of the following - men at arms, the amazing maurice, or reaper man, because they were the last three pratchetts i had in my room, and this caught my eye very recently. (oh, and lords and ladies too. one of those four.) where someone asks a riddle, or presents some kind of paradox, and someone else supplies an answer, and the questioner indignantly yelled - you guessed! you're not supposed to guess! this, i suppose, wouldn't be crucial, although it would be a help to my argument if i could find it. no time to go chasing down obscure bits in pratchett now, besides which if i got hold of one i might start reading again. that's why i got all of them out of my room you know. not that the description is very helpful it could apply to just about anyone, it might be one of the maddening conversations between ridcully and ponder stibbons, might be nobby and one of the watchmen, might be one of the rats or keith or malicia, although i have some feeling it's malicia and maurice. someone who has maurice please look for me and send me page numbers. danke.
