there are two things i really dislike about daily life in america. one is that their cellphone industry is absurdly undevelopped compared to just about any other developped country in the world. the other is this: why is it american coffee taste so watery and like it has been wrung out of a sock? but i can't seem to find, or make, the kind you get in kopitiams at home - very thick and very black and with a layer of thick evaporated milk at the bottom of the mug. well i don't much care about the evaporated milk but what is the trick to making the kopi part of it? there must be a method - is it the kind of beans or the way they brew it or what? i want to know.
