the performance took place behind a towel draped over the back of two chairs. you had to pay $2 to get in. (they let me in on credit) everything goes well until the wolf comes to knock on the door of the straw house, whereupon ariel forgets his lines.
but he knew it had something to do with him eating something:
"knock knock are you all hungry i want to have dinner!"
today we had a puppet show! puppets were made of leftover chinese new year party cutlery! result: one piglet of pink plastic bowl with paper ears and black marker eyes and flattened snout, and a big bad wolf made of a paper cup glued onto the back of a red plastic plate, also with pointy paper ears and sinister marker eyes. both mounted on chopsticks.
