my rose cuttings are finally starting to grow roots! i'm thrilled to death! they look like spongey little white needles, at first i couldn't even be sure that they were roots, they looked more like thorns gone soggy. they aren't ready to transplant to the ground yet, though i will do it in a few weeks, but now i'm toying with the idea of growing roses hydroponically. do you suppose that is feasible at home, if i got the right nutrient solutions and am careful with the lighting and misting? is home hydroponics labour-intensive, do you suppose?
