i grant, of course, that it is not real satay, but this dining hall does get some things right sometimes.
so i trudge in for lunch and they give me:
- a bowl of udon, dry
- drenched in a sour and spicy sauce
- topped with mango chutney with real chunks of mango
- and cucumber achah (which actually taste like achah)
- and liberal sprinklings of chopped peanuts and grated coconut
- and on top of all this, grilled beef on a skewer
and much happiness fills my heart.
