and we're back to school again.

me: *horrified* such a hostile question on a friday night!

the truth is that four-day weekends go by just as quickly as two-day ones. most of which i spent asleep. sometimes i think jet lag can go on for months.

things to look forward to:

february 17th, heath in cambridge;

february 24th, geraldine heng at the medieval doctoral conference (the only medievalist in the us with my last name, i have been told);

march 6th, la sylphide by the boston ballet;

march 20th, falling angels by the boston ballet;

march 26th, springbreak (charlottesville to pay annual pilgrimage to the nohrnbergs. and i have to get a picture of the fish in the bathtub at martha's for minyin);

april 27th, medieval children's lit book arts seminar;

april 29th, release of hitchhiker's guide the movie (alan rickman is going to be the voice for marvin heehee);

june 16th, flying home;

june 19th, half-blood prince.
