addy comes online after the LONGEST time and says she wants a smart woman mug for her birthday. she refers to the one i saw in black ink last week. it's a simple white coffee mug and it says: smart women are thirsty for knowledge. heh. there was also a roll of tape that said: smart women hold it all together! which was much funnier but what would she do with a several metres of yellow tape? she in turned told me about how she went to holland village with choonping to buy me a shawl for christmas and had "intractable arguments" and the only colour they were able to compromise on was something she thought i had already. so she will go to san fran next week, with alternative mystery presents. and then mingchen and jiahui and liangfen are also going to be here next monday. busy!
