Shall we go to the SCO concert?

Savour familiar poems written by famous Tang poets, such as Li Bai, Tu Pu, Meng Hao Ren and Wang Zhi Huan, in this programme celebrating the majesty and might of the Tang Dynasty.

Featuring narration performed by Shanghai actor Sun Dao Lin and orchestral accompaniment led by Music Director Tsung Yeh.

The second half showcases the world premiere of a commissioned work by Chinese composer Tang Jian Ping, depicting the Tang emperor receiving envoys from India; starring costumed soloists and dancers, and choir.
