brief note: a few weeks ago poach got it into my head that tim tams are the way of the future. and when i got here i was taught by minyin that by biting off opposite corners of a timtam, you could dip the biscuit in coffee or hot chocolate and use the timtam as a melty straw. this, she informs me, is the only way to eat timtams. it is worth the unusual sensation trying it once, or twice, but not more than that.
