my interest was barely aroused when von wrote of a chocolate bar that was "amazingly unctuous with surprising contrasts" but after his second post which goes:

the scent of warmed turmeric works well with milk chocolate, and the friable texture of the coconut remains after the chocolate has melted away. that said, the barcelona bar stands heads and shoulders above the other two. it just verges on being too sweet, and is rescued from this fate by frequent but unpredictable lumps (and not small ones either) of sea salt. the concept of a deep milk chocolate bears further exploration.

and after he refused my request for some samples in the post with a snappish "you think i'm made of money issit?" (conversation thereafter swiftly following trajectory of playground squabble: yes you are, no i'm not.) i went and had a look at the exotic chocolate he has been ingesting, and got distracted immediately by the idea of flower-infused chocolates. how tantalising! girls, couldn't we work on von collectively?
