i hadn't known this george bernard shaw play (i'd only read saint joan, major barbara and pygmalion) till i heard the production on bbc7 today:

mrs warren's profession

i should pay more attention to playwrights - i read plays only very infrequently - the odd stoppard or brecht or o'neill is all. i've got a hold of enqvist though - to read over the break - i've wanted to read rain snakes for a long time. (i don't doubt choonping will scorn me - i feel a bit like the patrician who only enjoys reading sheet music)
