so what my grandmother has is kidney failure. 90% failure. she won't be going for dialysis yet, but the way her health degenerates it won't be long before it comes to that. and is that a good thing? i should think she'd feel quite miserable having to be hooked up to a machine for several hours four times a week. transplant's out of the question, she's eighty-seven afterall, and not the healthiest of people to go through a major operation. and somehow we seem to spend our lives giving money to the nkf, and then suddenly you need them and it's not charity anymore but an investment...
