okay lah. su-lin wanted me to get her some of rhymes in sing song for her dissertation so i decided that while i was looking poems up for her i would post one here. i was just telling her that i thought christina rossetti's who has seen the wind has a nice zen sentiment, or at least when you consider something like

yan4 du4 han2 tan2
yan4 qu4 tan2 bu4 liu2 ying3
feng1 lai2 shu1 zhu2
feng1 guo4 zhu2 bu4 liu2 sheng1

(the wild geese cross the chilly pond.
when the geese have crossed the pond retains no reflection)
(the wind loosens the bamboo grove.
when the wind has passed the grove retains no noise)

which surely reminds you of the rossetti when she writes:
Who has seen the wind? Neither I nor you; But when the leaves hang trembling The wind is passing through. Who has seen the wind? Neither you nor I; But when the trees bow down their heads The wind is passing by.
